The year 2008 marks the 30th anniversary of McLeod Design Group’s tradition of excellence. Michael McLeod started designing interiors for the auto industry in 1963 and entered the boating industry officially in 1978 with his first customer being Thunderbird Products. Over the past thirty years our employees have been one of the major keys to our success and are dedicated to creating the highest quality products complemented by responsive, customer-oriented service. The majority of our employees have been with us for over 10 years and are highly skilled and cross-utilized. We consider our “Design Group” everyone on the team that contributes to bringing Mr. McLeod’s innovative, ergonomically correct designs to life through every department. In 1990, to show his appreciation to the “group effort” Mr. McLeod changed the business name from McLeod Interiors to McLeod Design Group, strongly believing in the philosophy that the group as a whole contributes the success of our company. Today, while Mr. McLeod focuses on design, the second generation of McLeod now leads the company. Vice President Stephanie McLeod Lee is strongly committed to running the operations of the company and is dedicated to her Father’s dream, top-quality products, and outstanding employees that make all the difference in boating enjoyment.
